Fallow Deer

Fallow deer are originally from the Mediterranean region of Europe and Asia Minor. Mature males weigh 160 to 220lbs and come in 3 varieties: spotted, chocolate, and the most common, white. Trophy animals are 6+ years of age and generally have 25+ inch beams with 4 or more inches of palmation. Management animals usually are 4+ years old and lack desired palmation. The best months for harvesting mature trophies are September and October; however, they can be hunted until the end of December.
